Solar Manpack

The Suntechnics Solar Manpack is a lightweight, high-output portable solar power system that is suitable for satellite telephones, radio transceivers, video cameras, surveillance sensors and for any other kind of equipment with built-in batteries that need charging.

The Solar Man Pack is powered by a series of connected crystalline silicon solar cells which have a transparent thermoplastic film in its front, an Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) encapsulate and an insulated back surface in each module. Four modules are connected in a series to a charge controller that can charge either a 12 or 24 volt battery which can be carried and used at any location. The modules are arranged in a custom made back-pack and can easily be carried around, thus making it a portable power source.It is also easy to assemble and is available in a number of power capacities: 25Wp, 35Wp, 50Wp and 75Wp. It can charge batteries with 6V, 12V, or 24 V DC configurations.
